About

The PSIONjournal mission is to create a high-quality resource on topics in children’s surgery. Like Wikipedia and Radiopaedia before us, our ambition is to deliver this resource free to both parents and professionals.

Parent pages are written in jargon-free language. This resource helps prepare you to engage with the surgical team and ask relevant questions before and after surgery.

Contributors

We welcome cases, vignettes and reviews to this library. Using the principle of bite-sized learning, each contributor takes ownership of a micro-topic. The contributor then undertakes to keep their colleagues up to date on this topic. The benefit for contributors is peer identification as a knowledge leader in a particular field. We are particularly interested in emerging techniques, images and video content.

Editors

PSIONjournal is edited and curated by paediatric surgeons with experience of managing these conditions.
